Ebha from very young age used to get upset to see poor children begging on roads and working on labourers a homes, in restaurants, factories and being deprived of their basic rights of education. But unlike most of us she resolved to do something about it. With the belief that education is a key to empower children and remove poverty in a single generation she searched for like-minded people and started an NGO- Ek Pahel B.R Memorial welfare society in December 2009. Ebha also started a project Swabhiman for skill development and financial empowerment of needy and poor women. Till now around 400 women belonging to marginalised session of society have been trained in course such as stitching, beautician, dona making, henna designing to make them self-depended. Moreover, regular medical check-up campaigns are organised for these children and women for their preventive and curative treatment.
